BACKGROUND:
Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) were created through the Older Americans Act (OAA) as a method of providing services to seniors. The goal of AAA is to assist older persons in achieving retirement in health, honor and dignity with individual freedom and independence in planning and managing their own lives. Your local AAA covers all of Coos and Curry Counties and assists with providing services to persons over the age of 60. |

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the District 7 AAA is to advocate, coordinate and/or implement resources so that services will be provided to meet the needs of all the seniors of Coos and Curry Counties. |
